‘effortlessly entertaining, feelgood dance’
‘great band, great singing and exceptional dancing’
‘simply tango, tango, tango’
Following a smash-hit UK tour, Strictly Come Dancing’s favourite duo bring yet another acclaimed production to the West End stage. Following the huge success of their previous dance shows Midnight Tango and Dance ‘Til Dawn, Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone bring their more intimate, passionate spectacular to the Phoenix Theatre. The Last Tango opens at the London venue September 22nd for a limited 10 week season.
Directed by Karen Bruce (Annie Get Your Gun), The Last Tango follows George as he delves deep into his past, discovering forgotten memories in his attic. Unlike previous productions, The Last Tango is a more intimate exploration of popular dance styles such as the rumba, jive, salsa and tango, which are combined to create one explosive evening.
Starring Flavia Cacace and Vincent Simone, The Last Tango is a celebration of the pair’s twenty years as dance partners, with this production being their last to tour the country. Both having competed in dance throughout their lives, the World Dance Champions were brought together through their love of the Argentine Tango, in which they are world-class experts. With a penchant for Latin and Ballroom, the duo have wowed the country, impressing audiences on popular BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
Now, The Last Tango spins into the Phoenix Theatre London, following a sell-out UK tour, playing a limited season until December 3rd 2016. Don’t miss out on this spectacular event!
